Healing & Therapeutic Engagement

Culturally informed therapeutic engagement grounded in Aboriginal Lore. This includes structured yarning circles, reflective practice and on-Country healing frameworks that support wellbeing, resilience and reconnection. This work is guided by our broader Cultural Governance & Advisory practice.

Cultural leadership, keynote speaking and advisory participation across government, education and corporate sectors. Contributions focus on Cultural Authority, governance, heritage and community accountability.

Welcome to Country

A Welcome delivered in Gathang and translated into English, grounded in inherited Cultural Authority and connection to Onebygamba and
surrounding waterways.

Smoking Ceremony

A ceremonial cleansing using eucalyptus leaves gathered from Country, offering grounding, renewal and cultural acknowledgement for significant gatherings.

Moon Woman Gathering On Water

A 2 hour guided Cultural Program instructed by Aunty Theresa Dargin. You will have a truly immersive cruising experience reconnecting with the natural cycles of the moon and tide off the coast of Newcastle. A space to reconnect with moon, water and Country, guided by Aunty Theresa Dargin, Worimi Woman, Lore Woman and Cultural Knowledge Holder.

Monthly Community Mangrove Clean-up Days

Our Monthly Mangrove Clean-up Day is a community-led initiative dedicated to protecting and preserving our coastal mangrove forests. Volunteers of all ages come together to remove waste, restore habitat, and strengthen the bond between our community and the natural environment that sustains us.

Sunday Cultural Days is a weekly celebration where our community gathers to honor the rich heritage and living traditions that define who we are. From local music and dance performances to art exhibits and traditional cuisine, every Sunday is an invitation to connect, learn, and take pride in our culture.

Circle Connections is an 8-week school program designed just for you! Each week, we gather in a circle to talk, listen, and learn together — about emotions, friendships, respect, and what it means to truly belong. No tests, no grades — just real conversations and real connections.

Healing Spirit: 1 - 3 hour program

Connecting to Spirit, Country, and Community.

This program invites participants to sit in a circle, creating a sacred space where connection to spirit and ancestral wisdom is fostered. Through the practice of deep listening, storytelling, and mindfulness, individuals will embark on a journey to understand and embrace their own connection to country, culture, and community.
