Acknowledgment
I would first like to acknowledge and thank my daughter, Tiara Dargin Artwork, for the beautiful Aboriginal artwork featured throughout this website. Tiara carries strong songlines through eight generations of story, culture, and connection to Country. Her artwork reflects identity, spirit, belonging, and the continuation of cultural knowledge through the next generation.
A heartfelt acknowledgement and thank you also to @shaktiimagery and @shakti_healing for the beautiful video capturing the Traditional Cleanse held at Holliea’s home. Thank you for welcoming me into your sacred space and allowing this moment of cultural healing and connection to be shared with such care, respect, and integrity.
Deep gratitude also to Cedar Whelan, local poet and storyteller, for the powerful poem “SMOKED – By the River Mouth,” written in reflection of the sacred cultural work and cleansing practices carried through Country, spirit, water, and story.
